TMX Aerospace Partners with Boeing Military in San Antonio, Texas

TMX Aerospace, a Division of ThyssenKrupp Materials NA, announced today a three-year contract with Boeing Aerospace Support Center in San Antonio, Texas to provide on-site supply chain services.

The TMX Aerospace operation will provide cut-to-size raw material needed to maintain, repair, and overhaul military aircraft. This includes supporting quick-turn, just in time deliveries to manufacturing points within the Boeing facility utilizing an online order release system.

The Boeing Aerospace Support Center in San Antonio, Texas, was established in 1998 to provide an affordable, high-quality, short cycle time maintenance and modification center for large aircraft. The facility, formerly part of the San Antonio Air Logistics Center, continues the legacy of aviation at Kelly Air Force Base that began in 1916. TMX Aerospace will provide services from within the 668,000 square foot Boeing hangar.

The opening of this operation marks an important strategic expansion of TMX Aerospace'’s services with the military aircraft segment.
